We are just days away from Japan heading to the polls for this year’s House of Councillors election, and Sanseito, the upstart far-right, anti-immigration party, has become one of the central pillars of attention throughout the campaign.
With an increasingly aggressive media presence, the party led by Kamiya Sohei has managed to grab headlines and public attention, and looks set to grab multiple seats this Sunday.
